The Heidelberg old bridge (Karl-Theodor bridge), leads over the river Neckar in Heidelberg and connects the old town with the Neckar banks of the eastern part of the district Neuenheim. 

A panorama walk from the hotel Hirschgasse leads you past the Heidelberg Nepomuk memorial and then directly across the Old Bridge into the heart of the old city. It has been built under the regency of elector Karl Theodor in 1788 and is the 9th bridge which had been constructed at this place.
